About John Hancock
John Hancock is a composer, arranger, & producer. His passion for music came early as he followed his music educator and performer parents into their musical world. His early lessons in piano and violin soon gave way to guitars and synthesizers and Hancock quickly gained a reputation of combining technology with his musical artistry as he composed for radio, television, and multimedia. Known among his peers for his "out of the box" creativity, he soon found himself sought after for his unique sound, producing and writing for everything from local singer-songwriters to national ad campaigns. This lead to the formation of his own music production company, Tritone Productions.
His music can now be heard daily on television shows like The Today Show, Showtime, ESPN, and Fox Sports" among many others. His compositions can also be heard in a many films, trailers and video games. Hundreds of his compositions are found in the popular Warner Chappell/Non-Stop Music Library.
When not composing his own music, he has also gained a reputation co-writing and producing many pop music artists such as International DJ sensation Kaskade and American Idol runner-up David Archuleta. This collaboration with Kaskade has led to remixes for artists such as Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Keri Hilson, Timbaland, Katy Perry, Owl City, Samantha James and Dan Black, among others. His own band "Late Night Alumni" (Ultra Records) is quickly gaining an international reputation.
John and his wife, artist Kindra Fehr, make their home in the mountains of Salt Lake City with their two children, Aria and Azur.
